What a summer of travel it’s been:)Heading to Boston!

Hi Friends,
I feel like I have been out of touch with you all on this page lately…I have been having some myspace issues again so if you were deleted please know that I did not do that. For some strange reason I add friends when I get a friend request but my overall number is going down….interesting..
Anyone know what might be causing that?
I hope your summer is going great. It is incredibly hot here in Nashville. I am excited to be heading home to Boston for some time with my family this week. I have not gotten back home since Christmas (which is way to long!) We are going to take a family vacation to Maine which I am so thrilled about. We grew up driving to Maine or Cape Cod for family vacations.I love the ocean…for some reason every time I walk or sit at the beach my heart feels at peace. I sense the nearness of God there. I breathe in the fresh sea air and it just seems to clear my mind and puts everything in perspective. I am much in need of some good, quality, hang time with my family and “rest”… Not to mention some good New England clam chowder (said like CHOW- DA) and my grammies homemade lasagna! It is “wicked awesome” I am just getting ready for the accent to come back..haha
Yes…I am excited to be heading home:)
The last few months of travel have been incredible. Here are a bunch of random pics
of great people I am meeting, my band and whatever else I could find!:) I thought you might enjoy.
Anyone go on a vacation with your family this summer? I would love to hear about it.

Here Is Jaime’s Latest Update From Peru!

Hello friends…
Como estas??
Hope you are all doing well! We have made it to PERU…..all 700 or so of us for the BRIO MAGAZINE MISSIONS TRIP! I am here leading in worship and doing some concerts with a fabulous band and the teens are putting on evangelical dramas each day in the villages! So far this has been an amazing trip! The Lords presence has been so strong each night in our services! I wanted to share some pics..more to come!

Update From Jaime!

Hey All Here Is A Recent Update From Jaime!

 

Hello Friends, Well it is WED morning Nashville time but my body clock thinks it is almost dinner time..hehe!! Any tips for Jet Lag?? We are back from our time in Norway and WOW was it an incredible trip! I am so grateful this morning for the way God works and moves in our lives! Several months ago I got a myspace message from a new friend in Norway! I remember thinking how neat it would be to visit that country and get to lead in worship/minister over there! I have a dream to worship with my brothers and sisters in Christ in every country one day! It turns out that I got invited along with my band and lable mate DK to come to Norway and do a Youth Concert and then sing at a few churches.. The people in Norway were all so kind and humble. We got to be out on the North Sea for a day ( pics are now up under NORWAY 08) We visited a new church that is being built that our host from the trip is apart of. Wow, it is going to be so neat. They are having scriptures engraved into the walk way of this new facility. We ate some of the best cheese and breads I have ever had! ( I need to hit the gym!) and got to worship God with our new Norwegian friends~! It really was a great trip and I wanted to thank you all for your prayers! I want to encourage you all to visit Norway it is beautiful!:) I want to thank our amazing host again who was so much like Jesus to me! A selfless, humble and kind man with a desire to see more Christian music get into his country! Thank you for blessing my life with your extreme generosity and kindess! I head out this SAT. for a concert in N.H. then onto Miami/Peru for the BRIO MAGAZINE missions trip! I would love your prayers for strength, energy and no sickness!:) You ever have those days where you come across the same scripture many times…I think the Lord was really trying to get this into my heart yesterday so I wanted to pass it along! I stumbled across it in my journal yesterday morning when I wrote it out back in ..hen it was the scripture in my daily devotional and then a friend gave me a card and had this scripture written out…WOW! Three times in one day! I hope it encourages you as much as it did for me! Much Love my friends! Isaiah 41:10 NLT “Don’t be afraid, for I a with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand” The Message Translation: Isaiah 41:10 “I’ve picked you. I haven’t dropped you. Don’t panic. Norway Update…

Here Is An update From Jaime….

Hi friends, It was so great to hear from so many of you in my last blog! We are having an amazing time here and can feel your prayers! Thank u… Last night we took part in a Norweigan Youth Concert! It was an outside event with 5 bands and a great stage that they built!! It was so incredible to be apart of this night and to hear and see so many of our brothers and sisters in the Lord worshipping God with all their hearts! It brought tears to my face as we would sing familiar worship songs in another language! I learned a new song that I just LOVE..it is called All Because Of You! I cannot wait to start leading it in the states! The youth event went from 7pm- Midnight but we did not get home till about 2am so today was a restful day! We went to a beautiful beach with some of our new friends John ( the Youth Pastor) and Alex( his brother who is the youth worship leader!) We are meeting the most amazing people here with such a passion for God and His presence! I hope you enjoy these pics!! Would love to hear from you! We are leading worship tomorrow morning at a local church here in Froyland then onto another church in the evning for a 6pm worship service then a concert at 9pm! Norway Day 3

Hey All Here Is Day 3 update From Daniel….

What’s up guys?
Well…it’s currently 5:00 pm here in Norway (which means it’s roughly 10:00 am) in Nashville. I gotta be honest, that’s a LITTLE trippy - HAHA! Today was wonderful day. We spent the morning here at the retreat center where we’ve been staying. Jaime and I also had an interview this morning with a local newspaper talking our music and the concerts we have coming up this weekend. It’s been such a cool experience thus far!

After our interview, we got the rest of the band together and set out to the mall (I know…we fly nine hours and what do we do in our free time??? Shop…HAHA). To be perfectly honest, after I spent 20 bucks on a McDonalds combo and another 15 on a couple bottles of water & a latte…I was done with shopping. It’s crazy how much more expensive things are over here. You live and learn 

We’re now having a little downtime back in our rooms before we head to Arne’s house (he’s the wonderful man who brought the whole crew over…and set this up for us) for a little dinner and fellowship. I can’t WAIT!!! As promised…we have been shooting video… and I’ve put together the first little video blog. It’s rather long…it covers us leaving…arriving…and the boat trip through the fjords. I’m compressing the file now (which may take a little while…); but I have all intentions to post it up this evening. If not, it’ll be waiting for your eager eyes in the morning!!!
